a). Done by Sophie-Lee Sylvester aka. Amazingly talented 14 year old.
An exquisite little work done using acrylic paints, metallic paints, unacrylic paint splodgers and various other things (and that’s just the background). The butterfly was hand-drawn and cut, and coloured in with watercolour crayons – what an invention THEY were. The writing/lyrics are by Xavier Rudd, and are probably misquoted.
b)
I love the colours. The words are some lyrics from Cat Empire
c)
This is my favourite one, so far. I love the word edelweiss, AND the flower, actually. But the song? It’s just as annoying as it is amazing, same goes for the musical.
d)
This is the print I bought from the Art Museum, I don’t think this does credit to it, but it’s the best I could do at the time, and I do like it.
e)
This was my first collage. I did it out of a Converse ad in a Jmag, which I think makes it extra special
f)
This one was originally Hudsons, but he didn’t want to do it anymore, so I was more than happy to take over. I don’t really like it myself, but there’s time to make it better I s’pose.
g)
Ring a Ring of Rosies. I painted these roses by myself, a few copies actually. Yay for post-it notes is what I say.
h)
I also got this card from the Art Museum place. Not sure if this one is finished, but oh well.
i)
Part of the Art Sat with Annelise and mum. This is using Polished Pigments things, which are amazing!
j)
More of the same
k)
A fave. The same stuff as above, in case you can’t tell.
l)
I pretty much copied this from Annelise, though mine is a lot different to hers. I copied the tree really, but a tree is a tree, and this is a free country (is it?).
Heyy there. So its been a long time. 5 whole months, but never mind that. I dont think i I have found much new music – well none comes to mind, oh wait! No! I mean, YES! My taste has broadened a tad, and I really really love- Paramore – the best song of theirs [...]
